Automated Tester (Expert) - $154K – $171K

Senior/Expert Test Engineer supporting a large government technical development program focused on Authentication, Authorization, Identity & Access Management (IdAM/ICAM), attributes, entitlements, and digital policy management
.

Key Responsibilities

Design, plan, execute, and document software/system testing
Perform integration, functional, unit, and user acceptance testing
Develop and maintain automated test scripts
Support testing in a Dev Ops/Sec Dev Ops environment
Conduct testing after software deployments
Create test plans, procedures, reports, and documentation
Troubleshoot and investigate system issues
Work closely with developers, engineers, customers, and technical teams
Track and report test results and defects
Help improve quality-control and reliability processes

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI + Polygraph
8+ years software testing and/or software development
BS + 11–15 years relevant experience, or MS + 10–13 years; equivalent experience may substitute
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
Hands-on experience with:
- Java
- Selenium
- SQL
- Linux
- JUnit
Experience with Git Hub, Jira, and Confluence
Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and independent-work skills
Experience working in matrixed/large technical teams

Preferred Skills

Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degree
Advanced degree

Bash scripting
Unit testing experience
