We are seeking experienced freelance translators to support financial, accounting, and tax‑related language projects. Assignments may involve written translation, transcription, and quality review of sensitive materials for government and regulated‑industry clients.

Pay Range: $0.08 – $0.20 per English word of translation; $25.00 – $40.00 per hour of transcription.

• Translate documents involving financial, accounting, regulatory, and tax-related subject matter.
• Perform verbatim transcription of audio files and translate transcripts into the target language, in accordance with project specifications.
• Apply domain‑specific terminology and follow designated style guides and quality standards.
• Review and provide quality assurance feedback on other linguists’ work, as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in written and spoken English.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining strict confidentiality and data‑handling requirements.

• Demonstrated professional experience translating between English and at least one foreign language.
• Familiarity with financial, accounting, regulatory, or tax terminology.
• Strong written English skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability and willingness to successfully complete a U.S. Government background investigation (Public Trust level or equivalent), as required by specific assignments.
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency (green card) required in accordance with the applicable federal contract.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience will be considered.

• This is a freelance / independent contractor position.
• Work is project‑based; assignment volume may vary.
• Some projects may require enhanced suitability review depending on content sensitivity.
