Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands‑on assistance throughout the lifecycle of real‑estate matters, from early planning stages through final execution.
  • Support deals involving asset transfers, leasing arrangements, and financing transactions.
  • Organize and oversee the review process for diligence materials.
  • Examine title commitments and survey documentation for accuracy and issues.
  • Facilitate escrow‑related processes and communications.
  • Request, collect, and evaluate third‑party materials such as surveys, lien searches, and UCC filings.
  • Analyze agreements related to tenancy, property operations, and vendor services.
  • Research public property and tax records to confirm ownership details, financing interests, encumbrances, and access rights.
  • Assemble and maintain closing timelines, prepare signature‑ready materials, and follow up on outstanding obligations after closing.
  • Prepare written communications and contribute to drafting transaction‑related documentation.
  • Work with registered agents and service providers to secure entity records, including formation documents and certificates evidencing legal status.
  • Prepare lease modifications and concise summaries of leasing documents.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Take on supplemental assignments as directed by the real‑estate group or paralegal leadership, including participation in volunteer legal initiatives.
Required Background
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree.
  • Prior experience supporting commercial property matters, typically one to three years.
  • Availability to work extended hours as needed, sometimes with limited advance notice.
Core Competencies
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and precision, with the capacity to juggle competing deadlines.
  • Professional discretion and the ability to build productive relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Comfort working autonomously and collaboratively in a high‑energy setting, while remaining composed and solutions‑oriented.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications; advanced spreadsheet skills are a plus.
