Interim Chief Operations Officer

We are seeking a seasoned Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and transform a large-scale, multi-site North American operation during a critical period of operational evolution and performance acceleration. This executive will execute the regional operations strategy while driving enterprise-wide operational excellence initiatives. The mandate is clear: unify processes, standardize execution, leverage data-driven decision-making, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, compliance, and profitability.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands‑on operator who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments.

• Oversee operational performance, quality, health & safety, sustainability, and compliance (QHSSE)
• Lead procurement and supply chain strategy to ensure efficiency, resilience, and cost control
• Establish standardized operating models and scalable best practices across the region
• Own operational P&L performance, budgeting, cost management, and capital planning
• Drive profitability, margin improvement, and disciplined resource allocation
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team
• Act as the primary operational liaison to global leadership
• Lead and develop high-performing operational teams across multiple geographies
• Provide strong governance across risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements

• Proven experience as a COO in a complex, multi-site environment
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale operational transformation and standardization initiatives
  
  Strong background in supply chain, procurement, and performance optimization
• Deep expertise in driving operational excellence frameworks and KPI-based management
• Financial acumen with experience managing significant P&L responsibility
• Executive presence with the ability to influence at both regional and global levels
• Experience in highly regulated or operationally intensive industries preferred
