- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
- 8 years of experience in commercial management, sourcing, and agreement negotiation for data center projects.
- Experience in construction contracting methods (e.g., Lump Sum, GMP) and MEP-specific cost drivers such as labor burden multipliers and technical scopes.
- Master’s degree.
- Certifications in CPM, RICS.
- Familiarity with Google’s internal procurement systems and agile delivery models.
- Ability to grow in a changing, ambiguous environment, shifting from "linear" delivery to high-velocity capacity acceleration.
- Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and partnerships with C‑suite executives at major firms and internal executive stakeholders.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
In this role, you will be a pivotal leader within the Construction Project Controls (CPC) organization. You will be responsible for the commercial strategy, sourcing, and programmatic discussion for both General Contractors (GCs) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) trade partners across Google’s Global Data Center portfolio.
You will lead a structural shift from project-by-project bidding to a program-level framework with a foundation of consistent pricing methodology. You will drive value and certainty by streamlining procurement to accelerate delivery, and ensuring commercial excellence through the entire project life-cycle.

CompensationThe US base salary range for this full‑time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Develop the Basis of Pricing (BoP) for all construction scopes, including methods of measurement, templates, and assumptions.
- Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies for General Contractor (GC) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services by shifting to a framework agreement model that aligns with global capacity objectives.
- Manage high‑stakes engagements regarding fees, staff rates, and productivity factors (e.g., NECA/MCAA) to achieve optimal outcomes and reduce commercial risk.
- Draft and finalize pricing methods for Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and framework agreements, ensuring pre‑negotiated commercials flow through to project‑specific agreements.
- Partner with Design, Construction, Legal, Finance, and the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) to align trade partner assignments with demand forecasts and design standards.
