About

The Role

Peraton is hiring a Director level role to lead a department within our Defense Sector. The person we hire will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Acquires follow‑on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development by leading major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers.
  • Manages a department within an organizational unit.
  • Has supervisory and developmental responsibilities within a functional area.
  • The director manages one or more projects or programs, may manage an operating office, and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines.
  • Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
  • Acts as a technical liaison with vendors.
  • Assists in proposal process and coordinates with Pricing Department when required. Responsible for all phases of the program budget.
  • Performs analysis for contract reviews with various software.
  • Develops Quality Assurance Programs for all products and services.
  • Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete tasks.
  • Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance.
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.
Qualifications
  • BA/BA degree preferred
  • 16+ years of experience in Program/Project Management
  • Experience leading a P&L, with a proven track record to grow a portfolio of programs YoY
  • Experience leading a team of Program Managers across multiple programs driving both excellent performance and on‑contract growth
  • Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and generate new business opportunities
  • Experience managing programs delivering IT and Network Operations, C5

    ISR, EW, Mission Support, or Spectrum Analysis
  • TS Preferred / Secret Clearance Required
  • Must live within commutable distance to a Peraton office
Details

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
