** Facilities Manager
** The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management for several sites in the Northern Virginia area, managing the local team and assisting the Account Director with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role will coordinate and manage client requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction. This position reports to the Account Director.
** What this job involves
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the Account Director in the implementation of all full-service components of first class facilities management, specifically addressing the client scope of work per the contract
* Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the facilities team, engineers and the client.
* Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position.
* Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual required activities and subsequent reporting.
* Oversee the development and management of the expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client/agency representative and internal leadership.
* Effectively lead, manage, support and assist in training site facility team.
* Support the client in the implementation of short and long-term projects based on participating addendum and contract.
* Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis. Effectively manage the annual budget, baseline adjustments and finance components related to specific client portfolio.
* Perform onsite facility & EHS inspections and audits.
* Manage intake of ergonomic requests and liaise with internal and external stakeholders through resolution.
* Verify that all work is managed within the CMMS work order system.
* Review and interpret leases to determine responsibility of client, and to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
* Assist with the development and implement the annual management plan and budget adjustments for the buildings within the client portfolio.
