While we continue to serve prestigious Healthcare, Higher Education, and public institutions throughout the tristate area, we are also expanding into new markets and large-scale infrastructure projects, including Data Centers across multiple states.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate design and pre-construction activities for large-scale data center projects. This role acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, external consultants, and construction partners, ensuring that design deliverables are executed efficiently, align with program objectives, and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities Design Management & Coordination
  • Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of design efforts across multiple active projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external design consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Oversee the development, review, and progression of design documentation packages.
  • Track design progress, identify risks or conflicts, and drive timely resolution of issues.
  • Facilitate coordination between disciplines to ensure integrated and constructible solutions.
  • Support the development and execution of design-related agreements and scope changes.
Project Planning & Controls
  • Develop comprehensive project plans prior to design initiation, including scope definition, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and communication strategies.
  • Maintain and continuously update project schedules, cost forecasts, and risk logs throughout the lifecycle.
  • Implement change management processes to track and control scope evolution.
  • Monitor performance against key milestones and proactively implement corrective actions when needed.
Stakeholder & Contractor Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication and reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, third-party consultants, and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of design and pre-construction activities.
  • Support procurement and contract negotiation efforts alongside legal and procurement teams.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and consultants, ensuring accountability and performance.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare and distribute regular project reports, including weekly updates and monthly summaries on progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Maintain design review logs, decision trackers, and comment registers to ensure full visibility and traceability.
  • Oversee document control processes, ensuring proper versioning, storage, and accessibility of project records.
Quality, Risk & Value Optimization
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards through design reviews, QA/QC processes, and constructability assessments.
  • Coordinate value engineering initiatives to optimize cost, performance, and constructability.
  • Identify and elevate project risks early, driving mitigation strategies through resolution.
Construction Phase Support
  • Provide support during construction administration by coordinating design clarifications and updates.
  • Ensure design intent is maintained through construction and reflected in final record documentation.
  • Assist with change order review, issue resolution, and coordination of as-built documentation.
  • Financial Oversight
  • Track project budgets, review cost estimates, and support financial reporting.
  • Review and process invoices, ensuring alignment with contract terms and project progress.
  • Support evaluation and negotiation of change orders and cost impacts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in project management or construction of large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical facilities.
  • Strong understanding of design processes, contracts, and construction methodologies.
  • Preferably experienced in data center construction projects.
