Overview
Job Overview - Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Fairfax is seeking a skilled and motivated Jobsite Supervisor/Manager to oversee and coordinate restoration packout and pack-back services at various job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, leading teams, and ensuring smooth execution of operations. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting project deadlines.

- Project Supervision:
Oversee the day-to-day operations at job sites, managing all aspects of packout, storage, and pack-back services. - Team Leadership:
Lead and supervise on-site teams, including packout and pack-back technicians, ensuring efficient and effective workflows. - Quality Control:
Ensure all processes follow company standards and industry best practices, maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. - Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring a seamless experience. - Problem Solving:
Proactively identify and resolve issues that arise during the packout and pack-back process. - Inventory Management:
Coordinate the safe and organized packing, transportation, and storage of items, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained. - Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations and guidelines on-site to protect workers and ensure a safe working environment. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain thorough records of job progress, incident reports, and other relevant documentation; provide regular updates to upper management. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the warehouse, restoration partners, and other departments to ensure smooth transitions between stages of a project.
- Proven experience in project management, construction, or restoration industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical environments.
- Previous experience in restoration, moving, or construction services.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems or software.
- Basic understanding of insurance claims and restoration processes.
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
