The Team
The Director, Shared Services Enablement leads the operational backbone of the enablement organization, orchestrating the people, programs, and processes that allow the enablement function to deliver s role leads a blended team across Learning Experience Design (LXD), Communications, and Program Success, while owning enablement planning and performance cadences and driving content readiness for major moments such as Sales Kickoff and Rising.
The ideal leader is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, communicates with clarity, and brings rigor to team leadership, planning, and execution.
The Role
Key Responsibilities Enablement Planning & Performance Cadence
- Own the operating rhythm that keeps the enablement organization aligned and accountable, including managing project intake, shaping the planning approach and cadences, and rolling up a prioritized organizational plan.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) — from narrative and preparation through results tracking and executive presentation.
- Connect inputs across the organization into a clear, forward-looking plan and a credible view of impact.
- Lead the enablement communications team, partnering closely with Employee Communications to ensure alignment, consistency, and reach across the organization.
- Set the strategy and approach for enablement messaging — triaging the best channel, identifying the right stakeholders, gathering accurate inputs, sequencing communications, and ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
- Lead enablement's contribution to flagship events, including Sales Kickoff and Rising.
- Partner with Experience Marketing — who owns the overall event — to ensure enablement content is scoped, developed, and delivered with quality and on time.
- Own the enablement workstream end to end, including content planning, stakeholder coordination, and readiness.
- Manage the LXD function, set quality standards, prioritize the design backlog, and ensure on-time delivery of learning experiences.
- Apply working knowledge of learning design to guide the team toward instructionally sound, learner-centric outcomes.
- Manage the team responsible for the operational execution of enablement programs, including webinar scheduling and production support, coordination with Business Technology (BT), participant communications and learner support, purchase order (PO) management, and survey execution.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in GTM enablement or related operational experience within a B2B SaaS environment
- 3+ years managing operational teams with blended resources (e.g., Learning Experience Design, Program Managers, Communications, etc.).
