The Project Manager position will play a critical role in managing resources to facilitate the accomplishment of key projects from initiation to close-out for the program. The Project Manager will be required to effectively manage cost, schedule and performance; ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and within scope.
The Project Manager provides and directs lifecycle of services for existing and new infrastructure for PSRM/FSRM projects.
The position must ensure all projects are managed effectively from initiation to closure utilizing current Project Management processes and techniques.
Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer objectives.
Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality.
Develop the overall project plan and manage project operations.
Develop Plans of Actions & Milestones (POA&M) with metrics that ensure sustainment and execution of program sustainment, restoration, and modernization (PSRM) programs.
Assist with tracking status of all PSRM projects.
Develop and maintain PSRM out-year requirements, especially the life-cycle maintenance and repair (M&R) program for the facilities.
Capture future M&R requirements.
Manage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts.
Ensure team members know and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team members.
Ensure production schedules are met and system resources are used effectively.
Coordinate resolution of production-related problems.
Ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.
Ensures that quality is an integral part of the development, design and manufacture of services.
Monitors products and services throughout the life cycle.
Validates/verifies adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities.
Works closely with assigned staff, senior specialists or task leads.
May direct the activities of specialists or other staff as necessary on activities related to the specified field or discipline.

Travel is approximately 30% travel and higher with travel to and throughout various CONUS and OCONUS locations, often to remote, austere, remote permissive, and non-permissive environments.Travel is worldwide deployable.

Perform tasks outside during any weather condition for long periods of time.
Operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine and printer.
