Sony Corporation of America seeks a Manager, Infrastructure Operations and Data Center Services in Reston, VA to be responsible for Data Center and Network facilities operations management, including Sony configuration items and assets. Responsibilities include monitoring systems and ensuring hardware, network, and server availability using tools including Solar Winds to detect and resolve performance issues; delivering IT programs through governance, resource and financial planning, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies to drive efficiency and continuous improvement;
analyzing service performance and recommending Service Level Requirements (SLRs) adjustments to align with business needs while balancing cost and operational impact; overseeing offshore and onshore vendor teams, ensuring SLA compliance, driving efficiency, and resolving delivery obstacles; collaborating with ADM (Application Development and Maintenance), BRM (Business Relationship Management), and Infrastructure Services teams to ensure that Development and Maintenance services are delivered up to expectations.
Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Requires a Master’s degree in Telecommunications, or related, or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience monitoring systems and ensuring hardware, network, and server availability using tools including Solar Winds.
