If you are passionate about space and deploying disruptive space technology, you will be excited about the Deputy Director of Network Infrastructure and Ground Entry Points (GEP) opportunity with Iridium in support of the Space Development Agency (SDA). In this role, you will provide organizational and execution leadership across Network Infrastructure and GEP functions, leading and developing a team while driving cross-functional execution, team performance, continuous improvement, and strategic capability growth.

You will be responsible for coordinating priorities, resources, and execution across existing SDA programs, while supporting new program development through early-phase planning, requirements shaping, and integration of new capabilities into Iridium’s SDA portfolio. Success in this role requires strong experience leading technical teams, a solid understanding of network infrastructure and ground systems, and a proven ability to manage execution, collaborate with program and technical leadership, remove barriers, and translate SDA mission objectives into actionable priorities and successful delivery.

Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with the ability to obtain CI Polygraph (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

• Provide organizational, execution, and technical leadership across Network Infrastructure and GEP activities
• Direct a team of subject matter experts, architects, and engineers to ensure effective execution, consistent quality, and successful program delivery
• Oversee network and GEP architecture, design, integration, deployment, and operational activities, ensuring teams apply appropriate methods, standards, and enterprise-aligned approaches
• Coordinate team priorities, resources, schedules, and dependencies across multiple SDA programs and initiatives, identifying and removing barriers to execution
• Guide technical and programmatic trade studies and support recommendations that appropriately balance mission needs, schedule, cost, risk, and scalability
• Ensure architectural and engineering standards, guidelines, and processes are consistently applied across Network Infrastructure and GEP activities
• Support the integration of new capabilities into existing SDA programs and new program development through early-phase planning, requirements refinement, resource planning, and solution definition
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex cross-functional and execution issues, driving issues to resolution and improving processes and operational workflows
• Collaborate closely with program management, engineering, finance, and technical leadership to support program planning, staffing, execution, executive briefings, risk management, and decision-making
