Copywriter

• Craft persuasive, on‑brand copy for campaigns, executive communications, web, social, video, and events
• Interview subject‑matter experts and translate technical concepts into clear, compelling language
• Apply voice/tone and brand guidelines consistently across formats and channels
• Edit and proofread for precision, accessibility, and compliance
• Partner with designers to concept creative ideas and narratives
• Incorporate feedback quickly; manage multiple deadlines with calm and quality

Organized and detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through; clear communication and service mindset; comfortable with productivity and workflow tools; quick learner; able to produce in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment; creativity, curiosity, and a bias for action.

Required:

• Associate’s degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in copywriting
• Portfolio demonstrating expertise, versatility, and measurable results
• Must be local to the DMV and be able to work on‑site 3 days a week (Tuesday mandatory)

Desired:

• Master’s degree (e.g., Creative Writing, Advertising)
• Experience working in the national security industry

The proposed salary range for this position is: $70,800 - $148,600.
