Copywriter
Job Title:
Copywriter
- Craft persuasive, on‑brand copy for campaigns, executive communications, web, social, video, and events
- Interview subject‑matter experts and translate technical concepts into clear, compelling language
- Apply voice/tone and brand guidelines consistently across formats and channels
- Edit and proofread for precision, accessibility, and compliance
- Partner with designers to concept creative ideas and narratives
- Incorporate feedback quickly; manage multiple deadlines with calm and quality
Organized and detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through; clear communication and service mindset; comfortable with productivity and workflow tools; quick learner; able to produce in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment; creativity, curiosity, and a bias for action.
QualificationsRequired:
- Associate’s degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in copywriting
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise, versatility, and measurable results
- Must be local to the DMV and be able to work on‑site 3 days a week (Tuesday mandatory)
Desired:
- Master’s degree (e.g., Creative Writing, Advertising)
- Experience working in the national security industry

The proposed salary range for this position is: $70,800 - $148,600.
