For our client, we are seeking a Transactions BD & Marketing Director to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements.
The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location:
Reston, VA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $218,438 – $353,889 annually
Responsibilities- Understand client business issues and market dynamics to inform strategy
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans in collaboration with practice group leaders
- Manage integrated marketing and business development campaigns for Transactions practices
- Plan and execute high-impact events and sponsor ships to enhance firm visibility
- Oversee development of tailored pitches and marketing materials to communicate the firm’s value
- Champion internal marketing infrastructure projects to enhance client success tracking
- Support onboarding and integration of key lateral hires and their client relationships
- 10+ years of experience in marketing/business development in a professional services environment required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is mandatory; a Master’s degree is preferred
- Prior experience in a large law firm environment is advantageous, whether as a lawyer or in a senior marketing/BD role
- Strong strategic planning and tactical execution skills are essential, with a focus on client service
- Proficiency in data analysis and business environment understanding related to transactional practices is needed
