RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Throughput

Job Summary

As an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Throughput, you will influence patient care through collaborative relationships and formal opportunities, shaping decisions that improve patient outcomes and advance nursing practice.

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and application of the nursing process while supporting system-wide patient flow and care coordination.
• Optimize facility throughput, ensuring efficient movement of patients across all levels of care.
• Collaborate with unit Charge Nurses, Central Patient Placement, EVS, Transport, case management, and leadership teams to prioritize admissions, transfers, and discharges across the hospital.
• Continuously monitor throughput dashboards (Tele Tracking, NATE Tempo, NATE DDD, Qlik, EDMV) to track capacity, discharge progression, delays, and overall flow efficiency.
• Monitor hospital-wide room availability, bed assignments, bed occupancy timers, and EVS turnaround performance; initiate escalation pathways when delays occur.
• Identify and resolve barriers to throughput by coordinating real‑time interventions to reduce delays and support proactive capacity planning.

• Nursing Degree
• Monday – Friday shift, 7:00 am–3:30 pm
• At least 2–3 years of acute‑care experience
