Job Summary and QualificationsDemonstrates comprehensive knowledge and application of the nursing process while supporting system-wide patient flow and care coordination.
Responsible and accountable for optimizing facility throughput, ensuring efficient movement of patients across all levels of care.
Collaborates with unit Charge Nurses, Central Patient Placement, EVS, Transport, case management, and leadership teams to prioritize admissions, transfers, and discharges across the entire hospital.
Continuously monitors throughput dashboards (Tele Tracking, NATE Tempo, NATE DDD, Qlik, EDMV) to track capacity, discharge progression, delays, and overall flow efficiency.
Monitors hospital-wide room availability, bed assignments, bed occupancy timers, and EVS turnaround performance; initiates escalation pathways when delays occur.
Assists in identifying and resolving barriers to throughput, coordinating real-time interventions to reduce delays and support proactive capacity planning.
- Nursing Degree
- Monday - Friday position - 7:00am-3:30pm
- Must have at least 2-3 years of acute care experience
