Overview

The Director of Nursing / Branch Director will oversee the operations of our home health agency in Reston, VA, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with Medicare regulations. The role involves providing leadership, guidance, and support to clinical and non‑clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. It requires a visionary leader with strong clinical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for home health care.

• Supervise the clinical operations of the field staff and report directly to the Agency Administrator.
• Maintain organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills—both oral and written.
• Understand and address issues related to the delivery of home health care services.
• Problem‑solve daily operational challenges.
• Review plans of care on a daily basis, utilizing knowledge of OASIS and Medicare guidelines.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the position is based.
• Graduate of an approved professional nursing school.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience within the last 36 months.
• Experience in Medicare home health is strongly preferred.
• Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred.
