Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse ICU at HCA Healthcare, you will deliver high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment. You will assess, monitor, and manage complex conditions, including ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You’ll provide clear patient and family education, practice exceptional communication, and uphold rigorous safety and infection-control standards.

- Provide evidence-based, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status, responding rapidly to changes in condition
- Administer and titrate IV medications, manage ventilators, and perform complex nursing procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation while upholding safety, infection control, and quality standards
- Participate in continuous learning, skills training, and quality improvement initiatives
- ICU patient care
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
- Ventilator management
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Medication administration and titration
- Interpretation of lab and diagnostic results
- Central line and arterial line care
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation
- Infection control and isolation protocols
