Patient Care Technician Inpatient Rehab

Hourly Wage Estimate: $19.29 – $26.04 / hour

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Inpatient Rehab at Reston Hospital Center, you will support nurses in providing hands‑on care and creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Your responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility and personal care, and maintaining patient areas.

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non‑medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• CNA program preferred
• 1+ year patient care experience in an acute setting preferred
