Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Reston, Virginia

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in an active Labor & Delivery unit including LDR rooms, OB triage, antepartum, and PACU settings
• Manage and administer IV drips including magnesium and other high-acuity medications
• Circulate and assist in cesarean sections and other OR procedures performed on the unit
• Monitor and support patients through labor, delivery, and recovery with a focus on high-acuity cases
• Float within the women's and children's service line as required per unit policy
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic documentation systems

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certification

• Experience in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit with high-acuity patient populations
• Experience in a scrub role and circulating in an OR environment
• Familiarity with procedures such as cesarean sections, epidurals, spinals, cerclage, and external cephalic version

• Work in a comprehensive women's and children's service line featuring a Level III NICU, multiple ORs, and a full-service Labor & Delivery unit
• Hospital-provided scrubs included for the duration of the assignment
