American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring active VA or compact RN license and AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certification.

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with 15 LDR rooms, 3 OB triage rooms, 3 ORs, a 4-bay PACU, and 4 antepartum rooms
• Unit supports a Level III NICU
• Uses Meditech and CPN documentation systems
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating required within the women's and children's service line
• Cares for high acuity patients including circulating C-sections and administering IV drips such as magnesium

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate
• Experience in a fast-paced L&D unit required
• Experience with scrub role and circulating in the OR is helpful
• Experience with procedures such as C-sections, epidurals, cerclage, and version
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• Facility supplies scrubs
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• First-time travelers may be considered
