Our hotel features 518 guestrooms that will be completely renovated in 2025, along with over 32,000 square feet of newly renovated, pillar‑free, centrally located meeting space that contains up to 22 individual breakout rooms.

The largest hotel in Fairfax County by room count, we also boast the second largest ballroom in the county at 12,300 sq ft.

Responsibilities

As a Business Travel Sales Manager, you will lead business travel/leisure travel sales, selling guest rooms and Hyatt services to transient market customers through corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel, and airline crew partners. You will manage current accounts, ensure proper solicitation of all transient markets for strategic account development, and may travel to major cities within the market.

You will prepare and present effective proposals and presentations, maintain well‑organized documentation and reports, utilize Hyatt technology systems, and coordinate customer service requirements with hotel operations staff as appropriate. You may participate in and lead event meetings, sales meetings, and other staff meetings. You will work closely as a team member with the sales and catering staff, and with assigned administrative support staff.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 3–4 years of hotel sales experience
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • Completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training preferred
  • Completion of selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
  • Demonstrated strategic account and business development skills
