Join Our Team as Sales Lead for North American Expansion!

We are a high-growth, mid-sized telecom software company specializing in a comprehensive range of OSS/BSS solutions including billing, self-service, interconnect, inventory, and charging. We are seeking a driven individual to spearhead our expansion into the North American market. As our Sales Lead, you will leverage existing operator contacts, build networks, and engage with our events and outbound campaigning team to create a robust sales pipeline.

Initially, you will have support from an SDR-based presales team in London, with plans for growth as opportunities arise.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Attending key trade shows and events to represent our solutions.
  • Developing leads and driving solution sales.
  • Participating in, or ideally leading, functional presentations and workshops.
  • Demonstrating commercial awareness and contributing to bid preparations.
  • Managing and reporting on your sales pipeline.
  • Collaborating with the existing presales team to deliver compelling software demonstrations.
  • Eventually building a new sales team presence in North America.
What You Bring:
  • Experience with BSS and/or OSS applications crucial for telecommunications operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications with a basic understanding of project management techniques.
  • The ability to adapt to new information or changing situations effectively.
  • A calm and focused approach to problem-solving, even under stress.
  • Commitment to achieving objectives and deliverables, regardless of the circumstances.
  • Continual consideration of commercial aspects in decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, both internal and external.
  • Innovative thinking and a knack for creative problem-solving.
  • The ability to navigate customer organizational hierarchies and identify key decision-makers.
  • Influential communication skills to persuade others without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in tracking progress against targets and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Adept at managing multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, from Tier 1 to Tier 3 operators.
