We are seeking a solution-oriented hunter to identify, pursue, and close new business across the Navy and USMC. This role will focus on building a targeted $500M annual pipeline and winning $125M+ per year in new single-award opportunities.
Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new single-award opportunities in Navy/USMC enterprise IT, network engineering, and cyber.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline leveraging Tyto Athene’s prime contract vehicles.
- Develop strategic relationships with senior Navy/USMC customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Lead capture efforts, including qualification, Gate reviews, win strategy, value proposition, and pricing (including Price-to-Win).
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure innovative, deliverable solutions.
- Drive pursuit timelines and meet all milestones through award.
- Represent Tyto Athene at industry events and customer engagements.
- Utilize CRM tools to track progress and drive growth.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (business, technical, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience selling new business into the U.S. Navy and/or USMC.
- Proven record of winning at least 3 single-award opportunities valued at $75M+ each in the past 5 years, acting as the primary driver from identification to close.
- Strong background in enterprise IT, network engineering, and/or cybersecurity for Navy/USMC.
- Experience in capture management, win themes, win probability, and Shipley processes.
- Ability to build relationships with senior military and civilian leaders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive “hunter” mindset with willingness to travel.
