Position - Client Relationship & Business Development Manager

Location – 1939 Roland Clarke Pl. Suite #300, Reston, VA – (Hybrid – Travel throughout the DMV area required)

Duration – Full-Time

We're looking for a highly driven relationship builder who thrives on meeting people, expanding professional networks, and representing ARK in the market. This is not a transactional sales role - it's an opportunity to become the trusted face of ARK across the DMV region, developing meaningful relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, technology leaders, and industry partners.

The ideal candidate enjoys being on the road, attending networking events, scheduling client visits, participating in industry conferences, and creating opportunities through genuine relationship building. Success in this role comes from curiosity, persistence, professionalism, and a passion for connecting people.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and strengthen relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, HR leaders, technology executives, and business stakeholders across the DMV region.
  • Represent ARK at client meetings, networking events, industry conferences, career fairs, and community events.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to introduce ARK's staffing and consulting capabilities to new organizations.
  • Develop long‑term client relationships through regular in‑person meetings, business lunches, coffee meetings, and executive introductions.
  • Partner closely with recruiting and delivery teams to understand client needs and ensure exceptional customer experience.
  • Travel extensively throughout the DMV area to maintain existing relationships and develop new business opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client priorities, organizational changes, and upcoming hiring initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate client activity and relationship updates within Job Diva CRM and Linked In Sales Navigator.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to develop account growth strategies and identify new market opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of business development, client relationship management, or account management experience within IT staffing, consulting, or professional services.
  • Demonstrated success developing executive‑level relationships and expanding strategic accounts.
  • Highly personable with exceptional communication and networking skills.
  • Comfortable spending significant time meeting clients in person and traveling throughout the DMV region.
  • Self‑motivated, energetic, and able to work independently while collaborating across internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with disciplined CRM usage and account planning.
  • Experience using Job Diva, Linked In Sales Navigator, or similar CRM and business development tools is preferred.
