As a Security Site Supervisor – Surveillance, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around during your shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Shift: Mon‑Fri 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Competitive hourly wage of $28.00/ hr (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Conduct vehicle patrols around the building and surrounding tenants
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Gather necessary information from callers during emergencies
• Dispatch appropriate assistance and coordinate with emergency services
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to callers during emergencies
• Coordinate with security personnel or other stakeholders over the telephone
• Operate security systems: monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems
• Understand security protocols and procedures for system operations
• Respond to security alerts and alarms
• Generate and analyze security reports
• Manage relationships directly, build rapport and trust with others
• Conduct security‑related interviews or investigations
• Coordinate responses to security incidents
• Collaborate with other departments on security‑related projects
• Lead, manage, or supervise a team

• High school education or equivalent (GED)
• Must successfully pass an extensive screening process
• Valid driver’s license
• Active DCJS Security License
• Operational responsibility for personnel in the account
• Operational support for the account including scheduling, payroll, compliance, post‑order development, performance metrics tracking, training, employee recognition, and inspections
• Effective oral and written communication skills; proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Consistently maintain a professional appearance
• Remain calm and lead the proper response during crises and emergency incidents
• Open availability outside of standard working hours
• Hold self and others accountable
• Manage various types of personalities
• Relevant 3 or more years of related supervisory/leadership experience
