Position: Security Specialists – Industrial Security Program
Reports To: The Customer and PM
Clearance Type: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
Work Location: Reston, VA (no teleworking)

Aversage SCI is seeking Security Specialists to provide security guidance and review of DD‑254s for contract support to clients. Responsibilities include daily use of the Contract Management System (CMS) to review, approve, decline, or request additional information on Acquisition Planning Records; assisting Contracting Officer(s) and Industry representatives to prepare and submit DD Form 254s; verifying cage codes, facility clearances and safeguarding levels in the Defense Security Service Industrial Security Facility Database;

acting as liaison between client and industry partners to ensure compliance with security requirements; and conducting security briefings and training.

• Provide security guidance and review of DD‑254s issued to contractors.
• Daily access to the Contract Management System to review, approve, decline, or request additional information associated with Acquisition Planning Records.
• Assist Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer Representatives, and Industry (Director of Security and Facility Security Officers) in accurately preparing and submitting DD Form 254s.
• Verify cage code, facility clearance, and safeguarding level within the Defense Security Service Industrial Security Facility Database.
• Act as liaison between client and industry partners to ensure compliance with security requirements in the Statement of Work, DD‑254, and addendums.
• Conduct security briefings and training based on solicitation, Statement of Work, DD‑254, and addendums.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Possession of TS/SCI clearance and successful completion of CI Poly (or TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI and pass CI Poly).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization and geographically dispersed sites.
• Experience working in DIA is a plus.
• Valid certification of completion in PII and Cyber Awareness Challenge from Information Assurance Support Environment (valid within 30 days of hire).

• Sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods.
• Stooped, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
• Lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
• Noise level:
  Low to moderate.
