Security Officer

USA Government Jobs -  - Responsibilities:
Serve as the Bureau Security Officer in the management, development, and on-going evaluation of the Bureau's Personnel and Suitability, Physical, and National Security Programs.;
Serve as a senior advisor to management and executive leadership developing and implementing strategic plans in support of the Bureau Security operations, policies, and regulations.;
Analyze regulations, directives, and policies originating with DOI, Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency, and Homeland Security, to determine their impact and need for new or modified USGS issuances or policy.;
Manage and lead the development of short and long-range planning activities and initiatives that address changing technology, work processes, and directives affecting the Bureau's Security Program.;
Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities including planning and reviewing work, staffing, identifying training needs, implementing EEO policies, evaluating employees' performance, and carrying out disciplinary actions.
