SOSi Electrician Position

SOSi is seeking an Electrician to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location. Essential job duties include being thoroughly familiar with electrical maintenance of equipment, having a record of safe practices and working knowledge of safety standards for electrical equipment maintenance and repair, experience in battery maintenance and installation, holding a supervisory position for two years, reading blueprints and performing material take-offs from prints, possessing leadership skills, and effectively communicating with the customer and subordinates.

Minimum requirements include an active in scope Secret security clearance, a high school graduate or GED equivalent or technical, vocational or trade school graduate for the electrical trade, certification as Master Electrician, appropriate state and local licenses, and eight years of experience in electrical trade in maintenance or construction.

Additional information includes residing at an overseas location, long hours, exposure to harsh weather and other hazardous conditions, and wearing location appropriate PPE and clothing when in the field.
