The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites applicants for a Maintenance Trainee, Rail Car. The program spans two years of classroom and on‑the‑job training, with graduation leading to a Mechanic, grade C, in the CMNT discipline.
Under supervision, trainees gain skills in inspection, repair, calibration and testing of WMATA rail cars and equipment, while maintaining safety procedures and meticulous records.
