About the Role A growing platform engineering team is looking for a skilled Quality Engineer (QE) with strong experience in Performance Testing, API Testing, and Test Data Management. This role is central to ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable software systems across complex applications.
What You’ll Do Performance & Load Testing- Design and execute comprehensive performance and load-testing strategies
- Use tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Load Runner for benchmarking and scalability analysis
- Identify bottlenecks and partner with engineering teams to optimize system performance
- Build and maintain automated API test suites using Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI
- Validate API responses, schemas, error handling, and authentication flows
- Champion shift-left testing practices to improve early-stage test coverage
- Create and implement strategies for reliable test data provisioning across complex applications
- Work with tools like Delphix, IBM Optim, or Informatica TDM
- Ensure compliance with data masking, privacy, and security requirements
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Integrate and optimize test suites within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops)
- Support efficient test execution in cloud and containerized environments
- 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing, API Testing, or Test Data Management
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical ability to diagnose performance issues and API failures
- Hands‑on experience with SQL and No
SQL databases - Understanding of security testing and regulatory compliance best practices
- Background in large-scale or high‑complexity systems is helpful
