Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Java Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Richmond, VA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise to drive project success and collaborate effectively with business teams, while working in a hybrid role during day shifts.
Rate Range: $48/hour to $50/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Minimum 6+ years of IT experience in Java 8, J2EE, and related technologies
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Dev Ops, Spring Boot, and microservices
- Proficiency in Advanced SQL, Spring Core, Spring JPA, GIT, Maven, and CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Strong communication skills, experience with Agile processes, and ability to work effectively within a global team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 6+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Dev Ops
- Proficiency in Java Spring Boot, Microservices, and Advanced SQL.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $50.00 per hour
