** Broadcom Mainframe Software Division (MSD) is looking for an experienced and self-driven Software Engineer for the z/VM Management Products team. In this role, you will maintain and enhance Broadcom’s suite of z/VM products that manage security, report management, and system automation on z/VM, including VM:

Secure, VM:

Backup, and VM:

Spool.  The position will involve a mix of development and technical support workloads.

**** Required Education, Experience, and Skills
***** Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
* BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
* Prior experience as a developer on z/VM or z/OS; z/VM preferred
* Strong HLASM skills a must
* Proficiency in REXX
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must have legal authorization to work in the US
**** Additional Skills
***** C Programming skills
* Experience with systems programming

Job Description:

**** Compensation and Benefits
** The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 - $172,800

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
