We are looking for a Senior AWS AI Application Developer to design, build, and support AI-driven solutions within a finance technology environment. This role focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into core engineering processes—spanning development, operations, and business workflows—to modernize mission-critical financial systems. You will work across cloud platforms, primarily AWS, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver scalable, resilient, and automated solutions.

The position involves hands‑on development in Python and Java, deep interaction with Oracle databases, and implementation of AI-powered capabilities such as generative AI and workflow automation. This is a hybrid role based in Reston, VA, requiring on‑site presence three days per week.

Design, build, and support AI‑driven solutions in a finance technology environment.

Integrate AI into core engineering processes across development, operations, and business workflows.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and automated solutions on AWS.

Develop in Python and Java, work with Oracle databases, and implement generative AI and workflow automation.

• 7+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or database engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and Java development in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of Oracle databases, including PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Practical experience building or integrating AI-enabled solutions (e.g., LLMs, generative AI tools).
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and Cloud Watch.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments, including scripting (Bash/Shell).
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git and Jenkins.
• Ability to troubleshoot across the stack and automate operational processes, including failover, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and resiliency patterns.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow (plus).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK (plus).
• Prior experience in financial services or large enterprise systems is helpful.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Estimated salary range: $95,800.00 – $ US$.
