Position Title: Front-End Software Engineer

Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and mission-driven Front-End Software Engineer to support high-impact national security programs. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and offers the opportunity to build intuitive, scalable, and secure user interfaces for mission-critical systems.
The ideal candidate is passionate about modern front-end technologies, user experience, and delivering performant applications in secure, complex environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-focused web applications
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for scalable development
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and accessibility
- Integrate front-end interfaces with APIs and backend services
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, data engineers, and mission stakeholders
- Support deployment and troubleshooting within secure environments
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- 2–10 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services
- Experience using Git and working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Experience supporting geospatial, intelligence, or mission-focused systems
- Familiarity working within IC environments or agencies
- Experience developing data visualization or geospatial web applications
- Knowledge of GIS concepts, mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, Open Layers, Mapbox), or geospatial data formats
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
