Job DescriptionSeeking highly motivated Developers/Engineers to build and implement functional software solutions that thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment, including the ability to engage in open and animated peer review sessions, change direction quickly, and an eagerness to learn new technologies. All development staff experience full exposure to application lifecycle management (ALM), affording employees the opportunity to learn and work across many functional areas including UI/UX, business layer, database design, application architecture, etc.
The ideal team member is a self‑starter with effective problem‑solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a curiosity for new challenges and experiences. Additionally, candidates will ideally have experience that highlights their critical thinking skills, lifelong learning habits, and effective presentation skills to help team members and clients understand issues, opportunities, and proposed solutions. The selected candidate will build and implement functional software solutions in a fast‑paced, agile environment and have the ability to engage in open and animated peer review sessions, change direction quickly, and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Collaborate with software architects and developers.
- Collaborate with the project managers, analysts, and customers in the analysis, design, creation, and maintenance of integration solutions.
- Produce code to develop easy maintenance and extension of DSI software products.
- Integrate software components and third‑party programs.
- Understand and demonstrate development skills utilizing ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, and JavaScript/JQuery.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Perform validation and verification testing prior to deploying implementations.
- Recommend and execute improvements.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of experience with software development, infrastructure development, or related field.
- Working understanding of SQL, SSL Certificates, and Single Sign On Configurations.
- Understanding of the ASP.NET application lifecycle from IIS to the DOM.
- Create and consume REST and SOAP web services.
- Experience with Windows environment and Visual Studio.
- Experience with .NET, SaaS.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
