Lead ITX/B2B Developer with EDI Experience

8-11 Years Experience

Demonstrated experience within the healthcare insurance industry. Knowledge of claims systems a plus, specifically FEP claims

Knowledge of EDI specifically ANSI X.12 transactions, e.g. 834, 837, etc. would be beneficial

Experience with mainframe-based application development experience

Demonstrated knowledge of COBOL applications running under CICS

Strongly demonstrated knowledge of DB2

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) knowledge and experience with web services is strongly preferred, but not required

Demonstrated knowledge and best practices of testing environments and processes

Strong testing skills

Excellent problem solving skills

Strong analytical skills

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Familiar with structured programming techniques

Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision

Strong documentation skills

Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus

Strong mapping skills with primary focus on Heath care EDI documents like 837, 834, 835, 270, 271, 276 and 277

Design and creation of type trees and maps using the design studio

Mapping from various file formats

Integration experience with IBM Transformation Extender Advanced(ITXA)

Mapping experience following document types:

E.g. XML, CSV, JSON, Flat File/Positional, Delimited

Mapping single and multiple input/output cards

Use of adapters (e.g. file, MQ, Databases, SOAP)

Exposure to the following standards packs

Healthcare - HIPAA, WEDI/SNIP levels 1-7

Testing validation and deployment of maps

Running/executing maps using Command Server, Launcher, Integration Servers

Ability to approach a complex problem, assess solutioning alternatives, and move forward with the solution that makes the most sense, while being able to justify the solution rationale

Exposure and experience with a programming language(s)

Experience with database(s) and understanding of database concepts

Experience with computer/server networking concepts

Data mapping and translation

Creation of Mapping Requirement Specifications (MRS) and/or Mapping Cross-Walks

Experience with organizational concepts (e.g., B2B, EDI, MFT, EAI)

Experience with communication protocols (e.g., S/FTP, HTTP/S, FTP/S) and concepts (e.g., keys, SSL certificates)

Installation of IBM Transformation Extender Products

IBM Transformation Extender Advanced (ITXA)
