Our client is a well-established organization within the scientific and technology distribution industry. Based in the Washington, DC area, they are looking to hire an IT Development Team Lead on a direct hire/permanent basis.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior software engineer ready to step into a leadership role while remaining hands‑on technically. You'll lead a team of three developers and play a key role in modernizing the company's technology stack, including a migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central. - 10+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years leading, mentoring, or coordinating development teams
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and software engineering best practices
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira
- Microsoft technology stack expertise
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
- SQL Server development and administration experience
- EDI B2B integration experience
- Experience with Microsoft Biz Talk and/or Cleo integration platforms
- Knowledge of cXML frameworks
- Programming experience with C#, Java, HTML, CSS, and Java Script
- Ability to work in a hands‑on, small‑team environment
