Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall Service Now platform architecture and roadmap
- Lead architecture design for Service Now modules including HRSD, CSM, and custom applications
- Establish platform governance, development standards, and best practices
- Evaluate new Service Now capabilities and recommend adoption strategies
- Provide technical leadership for platform upgrades, integrations, and enterprise implementations
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and business leaders to align Service Now capabilities with business strategy
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements, understand business processes, and design robust and scalable Service Now solutions
- Create detailed technical designs that align with the clients' short- and long-term needs and leverage the capabilities of the Service Now platform and integrations with third-party technologies effectively
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams, providing expert guidance on Service Now capabilities, customization options, and best practices
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and other teams to support the implementation of Service Now solutions
- Design scalable integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub, and APIs
- Conduct performance analysis and optimizations to enhance the overall efficiency and responsiveness of Service Now and integrated solutions
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guidelines
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Service Now and integrated technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs, and delivering high‑quality solutions that exceed their expectations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific/technical discipline
- 8+ years of experience implementing Service Now solutions
- 5+ years of experience architecting Service Now solutions
- Service Now Certified Technical Architect
- Service Now Certified System Administrator
- Must be a United States (U.S.) Citizen or Green card, and the work Must Be Performed in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust with the government
- Must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
