Job SummaryDevelop and maintain Freewheel and Beeswax’s core data products, providing technical leadership within the team. The role includes data product development, data analysis, API development, machine learning, CI/CD, and operationalization in AWS.
Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership within a team responsible for developing and maintaining data products for Freewheel and Beeswax’s core products.
- Develop data products using Python.
- Perform exploratory data analysis using SQL on Snowflake and Databricks.
- Develop data APIs using Golang.
- Perform version control using Git Hub.
- Develop machine learning models using Apache Spark.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Operationalize data products within AWS cloud platform.
- Create, maintain and extract data using Clickhouse.
- Support applications under development and customize current applications.
- Assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll‑outs of software releases.
- Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications.
- Document all development activity.
- Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports.
- Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products.
- Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements.
- Conduct analysis to determine integration needs.
- Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
- Guide and mentor junior level engineers.
- Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Five years of experience developing data products using Python.
- Experience performing exploratory data analysis using SQL.
- Experience developing data APIs using Golang.
- Experience performing version control with Git Hub.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Experience operationalizing data products within the AWS cloud platform.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and extracting data using Clickhouse.
- At least one year of experience using Snowflake and Databricks.
