Position: Software Engineer, Infrastructure with Security Clearance

Reston, VA Security Clearance: TS/SSBI/SCI We’re looking for a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to build, deploy, and operate the systems that support mission-focused software in production. You’ll help improve the path from development to deployment, while ensuring operational environments are reliable, observable, secure, and maintainable.

This role offers hands-on ownership across Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and system integrations. The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure and software engineering skills with the ability to solve problems in secure, operationally constrained environments. What You’ll Do
* Build and maintain CI/CD and release pipelines for cloud, on-premises, and deployed environments

* Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker

* Monitor production systems and lead incident response to maintain high availability

* Improve system reliability, observability, and operational processes

* Integrate applications and infrastructure with external systems and services

* Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and end users to deliver reliable operational solutions

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field

* 3+ years of professional experience

* Active TS/SCI security clearance

* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker

* Strong understanding of software deployment life cycles across cloud and on-premises environments

* Software development experience with Java, Rust, Type Script/React, or similar technologies

* Strong software engineering and troubleshooting skills

* Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

* U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab, Argo CD, or similar CI/CD platforms

* Experience with Keycloak or comparable identity and authentication systems

* Experience with Grafana, Loki, Alloy, or similar observability tools

* Production incident response experience

* Experience integrating software with external systems and services
