Buyer Cloud (formerly Beeswax) is responsible for building and maintaining the services necessary to set up, configure, manage, monitor, and execute DSP digital real-time bidding campaigns.

The App team focuses on APIs, support tools, and ad serving systems, supporting Free Wheel Engineering by enabling efficient and scalable programmatic advertising operations. This job is responsible for steering software development strategies that support the organization's goals. It involves setting coding standards, leading teams in the creation of innovative software, and managing ongoing support for existing platforms. Key duties include overseeing software releases, collaborating with managers on project delivery, and handling large-scale budgets.

It also focuses on integrating new technologies to improve development practices and partnering cross-functionally to align with broader organizational objectives.

• Leading the development and execution of software strategies to align with organizational goals
• Defining coding standards and frameworks for application development across various platforms
• Directing a large team in creating innovative software and web applications, while ensuring ongoing support for existing solutions
• Managing the rollout of software releases and updates, ensuring seamless implementation across the organization
• Collaborating with managers to meet project deadlines, specifications, and budgetary constraints, while developing performance metrics
• Reporting on project progress and managing large-scale budgets to meet financial targets
• Researching and integrating new coding technologies and practices to enhance development efficiency
• Partnering with other engineering teams to adopt practices that support organizational objectives
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

• Experience leading multiple software development teams working with Python/Django.
• Experience working with distributed systems in a low latency and high frequency environment.
