ServiceNow Developer; Top Secret

Reston or Chantilly, VA (supporting a federal customer)

We are seeking a Service Now Developer to join a large-scale Service Now environment supporting a federal customer. In this role, you will contribute to a mix of platform upgrades and new implementations across a complex, multi-module Service Now instance. You will work as part of a collaborative team delivering secure, compliant solutions that meet the needs of a federal agency.

Candidates who are strong in one or more Service Now modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Sec Ops, CSM, or custom applications) and who can quickly ramp up on additional areas are ideal.

• Develop, configure, and customize Service Now applications, workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and catalog items
• Support and participate in platform upgrades, including testing, remediation, and post-upgrade validation
• Build and maintain integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, and other methods
• Write clean, maintainable scripts and follow established coding and configuration standards
• Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet federal security and compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, production support tickets
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities
• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Hands-on experience developing and configuring Service Now applications in a production environment
• Experience working in a large or complex Service Now instance
• Ability to work on-site in Reston or Chantilly, VA as required

• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Experience supporting federal or DoD customers
• Familiarity with additional Service Now modules beyond core ITSM
