Job Opening

The Department of Conservation and Recreation, seeks applicants for a Operations Administration Intern, North Region (Contracted Student Interns Unpaid), 2026 Fall Semester to perform the duties listed below.

This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.

General Statement of Duties and

Job Responsibilities

Intern will assist the North Region Headquarters with seasonal hiring documentation. Candidate must be flexible, eager to learn and assist with other job duties as assigned.

Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities

Intern will assist the North Region Headquarters with entering payroll, and tracking these processes.

They will also help with general office tasks such as phone calls, ordering supplies, and email correspondence.

They will help improve and maintain work flow processes and proper tracking/filing of information for the North Region.

Preferred Skills

Microsoft 365 and ability to work with email (Outlook).

General office administration experience, work with phones and phone systems, plus printers.

Strong communication skills written and verbal.

Education or experience with payroll/finance or administrative tasks is also beneficial.
