RHS Arabic​/French Language Teacher

Revere Public Schools is seeking a high school French and Arabic Language Teacher. Education and Certification:
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred Massachusetts DESE certification in French and Arabic grades 5-12 Knowledge and

Skills:

* Multilingual in French and Arabic required

* Working knowledge of the Massachusetts World Language Standards

* Thorough understanding of theories and teaching methodologies along with a sophisticated understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of high school students.

* Thorough understanding of and commitment to the principles and practices of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice as they relate to student, staff, and community/family engagement.

* Strong foundation in student-centered pedagogy and culturally responsive teaching practices.

* Candidates must be flexible and collaborative and have well-established verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to share information and resources as appropriate, including strong written communication skills.
