Position: Mobile Associate Bilingual Preferred Retail Sales

Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They immerse themselves in meaningful connections with our customers, building new and deepening existing relationships.

They work to uncover customers' needs and educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This learning role prepares new associates for the next level, a Mobile Expert. Mobile Associates must successfully complete new employee training.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, provide world‑class customer experience, and build loyalty by helping customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey (online, Customer Care, or in‑store); exploring individual needs and providing hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology; side‑by‑side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan; approaching sales with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Use digital tools consistently to demonstrate coverage, explain unlimited plans, complete training on in‑store experience, new skills and processes, systems knowledge, and reference resources; make the most of shift time, actively seek information, and stay informed about wireless innovations.
  • Establish and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels to collectively own the customer experience, resolve issues for a seamless experience, identify and hand off small business leads, and support team initiatives to create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required).
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred.

  • Passionate customer advocate who can be themselves and connect while having fun (Required).
  • Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required).
  • Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learn and share ideas, serve customers, and resolve issues (Required).
  • Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required).
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation

Hourly base pay: $19.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay.

Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Upon completion, they promote to Mobile Expert with an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. Actual incentives vary by performance and full‑time status. All employees are guaranteed a minimum hourly earnings of $20, inclusive of base pay and incentives. Eligible employees receive an annual stock grant.
