Security Officer

Overview

Security Officer position located at Beach House Apartments, 540 Revere Beach Boulevard, Revere, MA. Schedule is seven days a week with Evening Shift from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, for the season from May 24 to September 30 (Memorial Day Weekend start). Pay rate is $19.00 – $21.00 per hour.

• Access Control:
  Verify resident credentials and guest passes at the property entrance to ensure only authorized individuals enter during evening hours.
• Policy Enforcement:
  Monitor property activity to ensure residents and guests adhere to community rules (noise, alcohol, capacity, etc.).
• Safety Rounds:
  Conduct regular walkthroughs of the beach house grounds and common areas to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Resident Assistance:
  Act as a friendly point of contact for residents, providing information and maintaining a welcoming, secure community atmosphere.
• Facility Maintenance:
  Keep common areas tidy and ensure the perimeter is free of debris.
• Closing Procedures:
  Execute nightly lock-up, secure gates, manage lights, and verify the facility is vacant at the end of the shift.

• Reliability:
  Requires 7-day-a-week coverage and commitment to the full summer season (May 24 – Sept 30).
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to remain mobile and conduct outdoor patrols during the 5-hour shift, in various weather conditions.
• Customer Service
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong interpersonal skills to enforce rules firmly, safely, and politely.
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience in security, hospitality, or residential concierge services is preferred.
