This is a full-time, on-site role located in Revere, MA for a Mobile Electronics Installation Technician. The primary responsibilities include the installation, service, and repair of mobile electronics and vehicle communication systems. Additional tasks include troubleshooting issues, conducting quality checks, and ensuring that all systems meet operational standards. The technician will collaborate with the team and provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting project deadlines.
Mobile electronic installations would consist of 2-way mobile radio installations, headset systems, equipment charging systems, warning and emergency systems in fire apparatus, police cruisers, ambulances, ATVs and various emergency vehicles.
We have multiple categories available for installation technicians. Pay will be based on technician category and or experience.
Qualifications- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing vehicle electronics issues
- Experience installing 2‑way communication equipment in emergency vehicles
- ETA, MECP or manufacturer specific certifications is a plus
- Knowledge of electronics theory is a plus.
- Ability to perform quality control inspections at end of every installation.
- Ability to attend webinars and training sessions to further education.
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Experience with cabling and wiring in vehicle equipment installations
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally if required
