Position Overview

Responsible for business management of projects ranging from $1 million to $4 billion, supporting key forecasting and accounting practices. The Financial Analyst will focus on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance. Experience working with cost and revenue components such as labor, construction equipment, materials, and subcontracts is essential. The role is integral to the month‑end close process and financial reporting package preparation for project management.

Responsibilities
  • Adapt to project needs and act as a team player across functions.
  • Build relationships with the Operations team and engage in learning opportunities.
  • Understand payroll and HR process workflow and master related systems for hiring, transfers, terminations, and payments.
  • Comprehend purchasing, invoicing, and internal controls for vendor transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable workflow and troubleshoot payment or vendor issues.
  • Handle intercompany and client billing workflows, ensuring timely and accurate documentation for cash management.
  • Review cost adjustments for accuracy, meeting company standards and accounting rules.
  • Analyze costs, quantity claiming, and budget structure, correcting reports for accurate management reporting.
  • Identify, adjust, and review forecast and budget issues to confirm proper cost and revenue recognition.
  • Provide first‑rate customer service, maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to help teammates.
  • Maintain an organized work environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly.
  • Follow the Corporate Compliance Program and implement EEO and labor laws at the project level.
  • Meet the LI‑LH1 requirement.
Qualifications
  • 0–3+ years of financial or data analysis experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Pivot Tables, V‑Lookup, and other key Excel functions (preferred).
  • Effective oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to access all parts of a construction site in varied climates and environments.
  • Independent and team‑based work capability.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Proven U.S. citizenship required; proof of citizenship is necessary for site badge access.
